Easter

I love Spring time, and I a little went crazy making stuff for the shop! But that's ok because I had so much fun making everything! I love this Easter Cloche made with a vintage plate
And how cute are these vintage looking Easter ornaments? I love them! I can't wait to do more for 4th of July and Halloween! Lots of ideas brewing so stay tuned throughout the year!
I think it's all the colors I love so much, they make an awesome display when everything is together.
I made a lot of small Easter scene jars and cute things for around the house, most folks love to decorate for Easter.
And of course there always has to be a "wreath" for every season!

Silver Ware

Ok, so I've seen all these cool displays with the silver ware.  I've seen this stuff in thrift stores forever, and never gave it a second thought, that is until PINTREST! Well thanks to that most wonderful of all websites, I now know what you do with this stuff!  So I was on a mission to find this stuff, and cheap. My first two pieces were actually $20 each. Whoa.....that is not what I wanted to pay, but I just couldn't pass it up for what it was, see that big oval like tray in the middle? That was one of the pieces and the other has the birdcage on it.  I guess I could have took a better close up to show ya'll how very different looking they were, and what caused me to pay $20 each!

This bunny looks like my pup when he knows he's done something not so good! LOL

This is some of my mercury glass collection left over from Christmas, yeah yeah, I didn't get around to putting it away so, hey just slap some easter stuff on it and I can get away with not putting it away again!

Another fabulous piece of silver ware! And a great deal at only 5 bucks!  I found this amazing thrift store, it's a "true" thrift store, things are dirt cheap as they should be. I'm talking $1 and $2 and lots of things for 50 cents as well!  I spent $45 dollars last week and had so much stuff the little old lady had to help me carry it all out to the car!  Yeah, I'm going back weekly!

Ok, so a friend gave me four of these thingy's. Not sure what they were for, they are little crystal things, someone said fancy salt holders? Anyhow, what to do with them? Voila! egg holders and displayed so beautifully on my awsome butter dish!

New Hutch

So I finally got a new Hutch for my kitchen, I put the other one in the shop, it was too small for this space, I love this larger one.  I decided to do something different for decorating, since spring should be coming soon (this has been a LONG Texas winter) I decided to do a "spring" theme, and then added some Easter accents.

I'm all about details, but details that are CHEAP! Cheap is best!  I love a good deal, speaking of good deals, this baby was only 6.00 at the base thrift shop, one of my favorite places to be!

Love the sweet little chick and blue bird

I found this large Mason Jar at some thrift store for only 4 bucks! I knew I could do something fabulous with it! How cool do these eggs look in my jar? Added a cute wooden bunny for Easter.

Plants, are my new thing...can you tell?  I have collected them lately, found a great deal some vendor had their stuff for 75% off!  Yay ME! I bought them all!  I love this bunny too!

Details can be so quick and easy! But make such a difference

This perhaps is my best deal yet, I found these "things" in my yard!  They are the weird growth on my live oak trees!  They look like little moss balls, but you can make a perfect nest for the eggs! This sure beats the $4 cheapy nests at Michaels.  Speaking of Michaels, don't get me wrong, I do love that place, but the other day I was looking for stuff there, and everything was so flippin expensive. I was very frustrated that not much of anything was on sale, well at least not what I wanted to be on sale, and there was this lady next to me and being so completely frustrated with their high prices, I blurted out "Can they be any more expensive?" She laughed, but most definetly agreed!
